A GOLDEN PIG FOR A PREMIUM HAM

Lladró was the brand chosen by Extrem Puro Extremadura to enhance the excellence of its 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham with an exclusive limited edition tray for the world’s most exquisite tables.

Made in white porcelain with a glazed and matte finish topped by a golden pig decorated in golden luster, it was presented publically on 8 October at the Lladró Boutique in Madrid. The event was attended by the renowned chef Toño Pérez, whose two-star Michelin restaurant Atrio has reinvented cuisine from the region of Extremadura with its exciting fusion of tradition and cutting-edge.

Founded in the 1980s and with headquarters in Cáceres, Extremo Puro Extremadura calls on the services of top designers for its contemporary packaging. The initiative gets off to a start with Lladró, with which it also shares the distinction of employing an entirely handcrafted production process. Two companies that demonstrate that tradition is not at odds with latest innovations.
