LLADRÓ’S LATEST CREATIONS AT CASA DECOR 2021, THE LEADING SHOWCASE FOR INTERIOR DESIGN IN SPAIN

Once again, creations from Lladró’s main product categories—Design, Lighting, Light&Scent, Home Accessories and Heritage—had a major input in many of the projects at this year’s Casa Decor. The showcase for interior design is open to the public through 27 June at ‘Casa de Don Tomás de Allende’ in Madrid.

The main spaces featuring collaborations with the porcelain brand are From Madrid to Heaven and Be My Guest. The former, conceived by AS interiorista, is a space for living and working where you can see creations like Awesome Insects in white, Blossom lamps and the limited edition sculpture Frida Kahlo with Monkey. The latter, Be My Guest, the name chosen by Ana María Fernández from Nometri for the hall space, evokes Hygge philosophy with an invitation to take pleasure in the little things in life, integrating natural materials and traditional craft elements like the lamps from the Nightbloom collectiondesigned by Marcel Wanders for Lladró.

Lladró also provided a selection of its creations to other spaces, as part of its ongoing rapport with leading brands and designers. This year’s Casa Decor reappraises our living spaces under the premise of sustainability, paying particular attention to advances in the use of organic, recycled and recyclable materials and a focus on ‘Km 0 interior design’, which prioritizes handmade products while safeguarding the future of traditional crafts. This engagement with environmental responsibility goes hand in hand with Lladró’s founding mandate: to create beauty with an attitude of sustainability and respect using a noble, natural material that is entirely crafted by hand at the company’s workshops in Valencia.
