Last week Lladró took part for the first time at the Hats&Horses event held in Menorca. The hippodrome in Ciutadella, located in a unique setting with sea views, hosted the island’s most famous horseraces. For the third year running, Hats&Horses brought together horses and fashion in genuine Ascot style and one of Lladró’s horses from its Gallop collection was the prize for the best-dressed racegoer of the day, awarded to Aldo Comas. In collaboration with Elite Spain – Federación Española del Lujo.

Many well-known faces turned up for the event in which all the proceeds raised went to the Menorca Preservation Fund. On another note, and as part of the celebrations for the event, Riccy Mahon, one of Menorca’s most exclusive boutiques, chose another Lladró porcelain horse, this time an English pure breed, to decorate its store and join in this initiative which is growing in strength and popularity every year.
