LLADRÓ ILLUMINATES A STYLISH NEW RESTAURANT IN BOSTON

Lladró continues to play a key role in prestigious interior design projects around the world by forming part of the decor of Coquette, a highly anticipated new restaurant in the vibrant Seaport area of Boston.

Located on the ground floor of the new Omni Boston Hotel, the restaurant is the work of COJE Management Group, the same team behind several other stylish drinking and dining destinations in this historic American city.

Each of the tables within the 240-seat dining room are illuminated by the warm, inviting light of our Firefly cordless lamps, the perfect accompaniment to a stunning interior set in sumptuous pastel tones of blue, pink and lavender.

The walls also feature playful contemporary twists on 17th century portraits by local artists, alongside a mural that recreates The Seasons by the art nouveau icon Alphonse Mucha. The ceiling above the bar, meanwhile, is covered with a reproduction of The Apotheosis of Hercules, the rococo painted ceiling at Versailles by François Lemoyne noted for its exquisite detail.

As a further link to Lladró’s home country of Spain, the mouthwatering menu devised by COJE culinary director Tom Berry is partly inspired by the cuisine of the Basque Country and also features interpretations of traditional coastal French and French colonial dishes.
