LLADRÓ AT MARBELLA DESIGN & ART

Lladró was pleased to participate at Marbella Design & Art, the best annual showcase for contemporary art and interior design on the Costa del Sol. Held over eleven days across 3000 square meters at the Palacio de Ferias, Exposiciones y Congresos Adolfo Suárez in Marbella, the event presented the best trends in residential and contractual interior design to more than 160,000 visitors. Its innovative and exclusive assembly format allowed exhibitors the opportunity to give form and life to individual spaces with their own unique decorative visions, using pieces from more than 150 exclusive firms.

Lladró participated in several spaces, the most prominent of which was that by the interior designer Diego Guillén Ligori. His space entitled Tempo, which won the second prize for the best fusion of art and interior design, invited us to travel through his family roots in search of harmony and was illuminated by a selection of creations from Lladró’s lighting collections. These included five hanging lamps from the Nightbloom collection designed in collaboration with Marcel Wanders, two lamps from the Jamz collection, and the Winter chandelier from the Seasons collection, the brand’s latest lighting collection and winner of a 2022 NYCxDESIGN award.

Several other Lladró creations were chosen to help tell the story of the space: the Dalí bust, Reflections of Nature, Imaginary Flowers and various pieces from the Awesome Insects collection.
Elsewhere, Leonela Rivas’s space in pastel tones and gold finishes featured African Soul bust, the Mirage lamp, Eagle and Sea Turtles in brown and white; Mar Vera’s dining room space included Jaime Hayon’s new creation Embraced in its three versions; the space by the brand Alexandra featured the big Guest in white; the sculpture of the goddess Diana graced the lounge space by Somos2studio; and Ana Robles from Alterespacio chose the Canvas Flowers Tapestry Vase designed in collaboration with Bodo Sperlein.
Marbella Design & Art is an event that looks to the future, taking the best references from the past and present but without forgetting the most avant-garde and innovative art and design on the current scene. Lladró’s involvement exemplifies our brand’s close relationship with leading contemporary brands and designers and maintains its status as an icon of Spanish contemporary design.
