LLADRÓ AT THE MUSEO DELLE CULTURE DI MILANO
The launch of a new book of photographs of the Italian rapper Achille Lauro took place at the Museo delle Culture (MUDEC) in Milan, with a full day of events titled «Achille Idol is Present». It included a live performance, an intimate gathering with his collaborators and followers, and the presentation of the book.
More than 200 pages are dedicated to iconic images from the career of this eclectic artist, ranging from his performances to his album cover shoots, taken by internationally renowned photographers.
The day came to an end with the official opening of “Wunderkammer”, a new permanent collection composed of clothes and different objects, instruments and memorabilia from the artist’s time in Sanremo.
The Museum turned itself into a 3D version of everything in the book, with many different items from the artist’s performances on show including several Lladró pieces: The Chess Set, and two timepieces: the Frame Hexagonal Clock, and the Infinite Round. The company is already featured at the MUDEC with a selection of pieces on display in the museum.
