Lladró was proud once again to be part of the Fundación Starlite’s annual charity gala, the most glamorous charity event of the summer held in Spain’s most fashionable coastal destination, Marbella.

This special night of celebration and philanthropy aims to raise funds for charitable projects carried out annually by the Fundación and forms a key part of the Starlite Catalana Occidente music festival. More than 200 guests including the legendary American actor Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva, Cuban actor William Levy, Mexican actress Aislinn Debrez, Spanish actress Ana Obregón and Victoria Federica, member of the Spanish Royal Family, all enjoyed a magical night of fine dining, music and dancing.

The event, now in its 13th edition and hosted once again by renowned Spanish actor Antonio Banderas and the president of the Fundación Starlite, Sandra García-Sanjuán Machado, was a resounding success. The interior design studio AS Interiorista, who also designed the decoration for the event in previous years, was responsible for the beautiful circus-themed setting.

The colorful and spectacular theme inspired by the magic of the circus was the perfect setting for a range of Lladró creations by leading designer Jaime Hayon, including the Clown Table Lamp, the Masquerade Bud Vase and the striking Conversation Vase. The warmth of Lladró’s porcelain lighting creations also shined throughout the night, with the cordless portable Firefly lamps inspired by the warm glow of fireflies on warm summer nights adding a further touch of sophistication to each table.

With this year’s event, Lladró has now been actively involved in the Starlite gala for four years in a row. Organized by Fundación Starlite, the social arm of the Starlite platform, the event raises funds to help improve the lives, health and education of children, families and communities in need by offering real opportunities for development, training and inclusion. The vital support of important entrepreneurs, personalities and artists with strong social consciousness and their ability to make available their fame, influence and media power, play an important part in helping the Foundation achieve its aims.
