LLADRÓ TOOK PART IN THE EXHIBITION VALENCIA PAVILION. THE FUTURE IS DESIGN
he city of Madrid hosted its annual Madrid Design Festival, and once again, Lladró had the honor of taking part in this celebration of the world of design.
On this occasion, the creations from the Metropolis collection, designed by Inma Bermúdez, Susana Rodríguez and Nacho Cuenca for Lladró, were included in Valencia Pavilion. The Future is Design, an exhibition which was also part of the activities organized by Valencia World Design Capital 2022, and conceived to highlight design from Valencia as a factor for change in industry and contemporary crafts.
The exhibition took an overview of success stories in companies in which design was the gateway to innovation, the essential element to update and reappraise the unique artisan processes that differentiate them.
Open to the public from February 9th through March 14th, the show combined in-person and digital versions, featuring audiovisual, sound and digital material to highlight the projects, designers and companies from Valencia that are currently revolutionizing the playing field with their innovative transgressive approaches.
