ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND SOLIDARY SPANISH SUMMER GALAS, STARLITE
For the third year running, Lladró has been actively involved in Starlite, the summer’s most glamorous charity gala. Organized by Fundación Starlite and located in Marbella, one of Spain´s most fashionable coastal destinations, the event raises funds to help improve the lives, health and education of children, families and communities in need.
More than 200 guests, including Spanish personalities like Reyes Maroto, the Minister of Tourism, and celebrities such as Paula Echevarría, enjoyed a night of fine dining, music and dancing presented by Iván Sanchez. The warmth of Lladró porcelain lighting creations shined through the night, decorating the space conceived by the talented interior designer Adriana Somoza.
One of the statement pieces of the night was the Nightbloom floor lamp, designed by Marcel Wanders for Lladró, with its white porcelain petals, providing a magical light right below the main stage. Meanwhile, the cordless portable Firefly lamps added a sophisticated touch to each table. To help raise funds for this worthy cause, Lladró donated one of its contemporary bestsellers, the origami Black Panther, a symbol of courage, strength and protection.
