Lladró continues strengthening its bonds with China at its latest launch in one of the unique locations in the center of Beijing. In fact, the Waldorf Astoria reflects the singular cultural legacy of a city symbolizing luxury like no other. The iconic hotel is hosting Coral Garden Afternoon Tea, inviting guests to an experience conceived to stimulate all the senses, turning gastronomy and porcelain into an art form.

Lladró design and craftsmanship will be part of afternoon tea in Peacock Alley at Waldorf Astoria where its products will enhance the aesthetics, taste and textures of an exquisite selection of culinary creations by the hotel’s innovative chefs. Inspired by the beauty of coral reefs which Lladró interpreted in its handcrafted porcelain collection Coral, the ocean and its creatures are given shape in delicious canapés such as scallop ceviche with blood orange or lobster cappuccino in puff pastry.

An artistic feast finished off with creative desserts like Red Velvet in the form of a starfish, conceived by Anson Zheng, the pastry chef at Waldorf Astoria Beijing. All those who take part in the Coral Garden Afternoon Tea culinary experience between now and 14 September will receive a limited edition scented candle from the Echoes of Nature collection.
